ESRA Herzliya Branch "Last Time I Saw Paris" with Marjorie Glick

Marjorie Glick

‎“The Last Time I Saw Paris’‎

"We like to think of Paris as a city of springtime, youth, beauty and romance! When I was ‎there a year or so ago, I stumbled upon a magical, yet melancholy museum in a quiet ‎part of the town. It had been the glamorous home of a Jewish family, and it is their story ‎that I would like to share with you."‎

Marjorie Glick whose specialty is history, is Life President of the Jewish Research ‎Group of the Edmonton Hundred Historical Society, as well as serving on the Council of ‎the Jewish Historical Society of England. Before her Aliyah, she was active in local ‎English Jewish societies and the British Federation of University Women. She has ‎travelled widely and has become very interested in old Jewish communities, in particular, ‎the role played by women.‎
