Project of the Month

These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.

who will talk about

"The Universal Meaning of the Holocaust"

which will include themes from his new book "The Silent Letter"
Ambassador Mayer was Director of the Yemin Orde Youth Village, a home, school, and haven for at-risk teens, for 18 ‎years, and held prominent positions within Israel’s Ministry of Education and the Jewish Agency.‎ He served as Israel’s Consul-General in Montreal, ‎Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, and Ambassador to Switzerland. ‎

Mayer is currently Senior Advisor to Netanya Academic College’s 'Center for Strategic ‎Dialogue' and a frequent commentator to the Israel media.

He has published ‎novels, essay collections and poetry.‎
