Project of the Month

These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.

Bus Trip to two Museums and a Winery
  • The Ghetto Fighters' Museum at Lohamei Hageta'ot - guided tour in English lasting 90 minutes - the museum tells the story of the Holocaust, emphasizing the bravery, spiritual triumph of the fighters of the revolt, and the incredible ability of Holocaust survivors to rebuild their lives in the State of Israel.
  • hanita_museum.jpgKibbutz Hanita on the Northern Border - guided tour in English of their 'Tower and Stockade' Museum. The museum was established in the 1960's by members of the first group of settlers - they realised that history was in the making and started to put together a collection including historic findings such as a 6th Century Byzantine Church, a magnificent mosaic floor and coins from Roman and Greek periods.
  • Wine Tasting at the Achziv Boutique Winery - a family run business + chance to browse around the owner's art gallery.
