Rajastan – The Land of the Kings of the Indian Thar Desert
with Yoram Porath, Film Director and Lecturer

Rajasthan is the land of the Maharajas, the famous rulers of India, their fortresses, ‎palaces and luxurious lifestyle; the land of temples, exoticism, dreams, deserts ‎and magical lakes.

The remains of the ‎past are visible everywhere - the colorful palaces carved in sandstone (reputedly ‎taken from the Arabian Nights), the holy city of Pushkar, the capital of the ‎creator God Brahma, the proud Rajput tribes that admire freedom more than ‎any precious stone.

"My journey on the back of a camel in the dunes of the ‎Tar Desert revealed a traditional rural environment, a unique landscape ... and ‎the girl with the most beautiful smile in the desert." writes Porath.‎
