Romeo, Juliet and the Jews
with Phella Hirschson
Romeo and Juliet is known as one of the world’s greatest love stories. It also relates directly to the Jewish experience about the time Shakespeare wrote it.
Phella made Aliya from South Africa in 2002 and has taught English, public speaking, debating and storytelling for many years. She has also edited an edition of Julius Caesar and has had short stories published in Israel.
