ESRA Herzliya hosts Dr. Batsheva Porat Katz

speaking on “How our Past Affects our Behavior”

Dr. Katz will speak to us on the effects of trauma on our behavior illustrated by the incidence of hoarding among Holocaust survivors. Her presentation will include a short video.


Dr. Bat-Sheva Porat-Katz, MD is a District Geriatrician Officer at Tel-Aviv District Health Office and Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, and the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.


All the proceeds from this evening will go to the Lemonade Fund, which helps Israeli breast cancer patients from all segments of society (See the latest ESRA magazine page 40).
