Lecture & guided tour ‎ #3 10:00 – 12:30‎

From Matter to air: the development of installation Art

During the twentieth century to this day, Installation Art has gone through dramatic ‎developments; From Site Specific installations, through Non-Site installations, and finally, ‎artworks that take place in the spectator's mine alone.

In the course of the lecture we will ‎examine how the viewer's body is influenced by the installation in front of it, discuss ‎interactivity and activism as significant components, and conclude with Virtual-Reality ‎installations that respond to the digital age in which we live today. ‎
