Lecture & guided tour #2‎ on Mondays 10:00 – 12:30‎

Art & Science - The interaction between art and science began in antiquity with thinkers such as Aristotle ‎whose writings formed the basis of scientific development, continued with the flourishing of ‎science and its acceptance in the Renaissance and with figures, such as Leonardo da Vinci. ‎

Today, with technological and digital progress, artists have begun collaborating with scientists ‎to create works that manipulate living tissues and produce living organisms as artworks. ‎These are artists - scientists who deal with genetic engineering, tissue culture and other ‎technologies that enable a new kind of artistic expression.
