Project of the Month

These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.

Quintessential Quilts in Givatayim

Marlyn Butchins and her amazing collection of quilts came to talk to our ESRA Givatayim group, and what a treat it was!! Dazzling colors, intricate designs, variety of themes and motifs - all this and more in the quilts designed and executed by Marlyn.

Givatayim -Ramat Gan

ESRA Givatayim-Ramat Gan Branch got off to a surprising start in December 2013 when 28 people came along to an exploratory meeting. An enthusiastic and creative committee was formed and we were on our way.

We currently hold meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and have between 20-25 people at meetings. Our meeting hosting Linda Silverstone in June 2014 will be the first to be held in the Shazar Community Center in Yavnieli St. We hope this will become our permanent meeting venue.

This, and many other facts, we learned from musical connoisseur, Barbara Blum who charmed our audience of 25 enthusiastic people who were in attendance at the home of Kleile Lerner in Ramat Gan.
