Project of the Month

These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.

Tiberias - Jordan Valley

This Branch, formed in October 2012, covers the area of Tiberias, and villages and kibbutzim in the Jordan Valley and the surrounding Lower Galilee area.
Monthly meetings are usually held on the last Monday of the month, in Degania Bet, although there may be occasional changes. We organise a varied programme of lectures, trips and other activities, and attract English speakers from all over the area.

Lunch club - a group meets every Wednesday from 1pm in the Food Court of the BIG Fashion Mall in Tiberias. (Plenty of free underground parking). Join us for lunch, a snack, a coffee, or just meet up for good company.

Succot Fair - We collect goods for sale and organise a table at the street fair that takes place every year on Deganya Bet. This is a wonderful source of income for our branch which goes towards ESRA projects.
