Jerusalem between Ottoman and British rule.

Yoav Avneyon's family arrived in Jerusalem in 1807. Shlomo Israel Cherezli (his great grandfather) was the first Hebrew publisher in the land of Israel, and worked closely with the reviver of the Hebrew language – Eliezer Ben Yehuda. Through a personal view, we shall revive the spirit of that fascinating period in Jerusalem.
Yoav, educated in Economics, Geography and Business Administration, is an authorised tour guide and outdoor training guide with full knowledge of the country. He is a Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) in the Artillery Forces, lives in Moshav Rishpon and is married with four children. He will show you a new meaning of nature, people and history, and make our time together a memorable experience.
