This enjoyable lecture will introduce us with some of the great violinists of our time, featuring selected examples from iconic pieces by Bach, Paganini, Locatelli, and others. We will discuss various elements of violin playing, and compare different renditions to the same pieces in terms of interpretation, style, emotional involvement, etc.
