Balancing risk and reward from the boardroom to the mountaintop.

What are the physical and mental limits of human endurance? What does it take for a person to run over 250 km in 24 hours, traverse Death Valley in the middle of the summer, attempt the fastest known time on the famed Appalachian Trail, or complete the toughest snowshoe race in the world? What can we all learn from ultra-endurance athletes and extreme wilderness expeditions? Adam and Eliza Schalit, athletes and ultra-endurance event directors, will explore these topics and more.

Adam Schalit is a writer, businessman, outdoor sports educator, and mountain athlete. From startups to starting lines, he has been guiding both business development and extreme expeditions for over a decade.Eliza Schalit is a biotech and life sciences project manager, event director, and ultramarathon runner. She has completed some of the toughest ultramarathons in North America, and together with Adam founded Nor'east Trail Runs, an event production company in Vermont, USA, in 2018.
