On October 31st, Israelis will go to the polls to elect new mayors and city council representatives. These elections, by law once every five years, have a major impact on the quality of life in every city and, for small towns and villages, regional district. Learn who is vying for our votes here in Modi’in as candidates for our municipal council explain in English their views towards the issues - local transportation, services to new immigrants, etc - that affect our daily lives.
The event will be chaired by Yonah Jeremy Bob, a senior correspondent for the Jerusalem Post and author on military and intelligence affairs. He has just written a book on the Mossad. He comes from Baltimore in the USA and graduated from Columbia University and Boston University Law School.
