Hike Ma’agan Michael (2)

Hike Ma’agan Michael (2)

ESRA Hike in Ma’agan Michael

Wednesday 3 June | 8:00

Last hike of this unforgettable 2020 season!

We will start our trail at 8:00 at Mul Zichron -  behind the canyon.
No coaches are available so please drive to the canyon. This will be a circular route and we will all be able to pick up our cars at the end of the hike.

The kibbutz started in 1949 by a group of 154 members most of whom were members of the Hebrew scouts. It is named after Michael Pollack, founder of the Nesher cement plant. This has become the largest kibbutz in Israel with over 1400 members. There is beautiful vegetation, fish ponds with interesting history to be learned about the area.

The hike will start amongst the trees and ponds of the kibbutz. This is one of the most beautiful kibbutzim in Israel. We will make our way to the beach of the kibbutz. You will have an opportunity to swim so bring swimwear, hats, water and lunch.

Easy walk 7 km
