We will begin our hike in Kibbtuz Amikan, established in 1950 by Jewish refugees from Shanghai and Manchuria who escaped the Chinese civil war. This is a beautiful area to hike in and is famous for growing special peach trees. We will follow the trail along Nahal Taninim (Hebrew for crocodile) because crocodiles inhabited the nearby swamps until the 1900s, and then under Road 6 to Ein Nili through forests around Kibbutz Galed which was established by German Habonim members in 1945. The trail will conclude at Cyclomen Hill.
We are expecting sunny weather and beautiful flowers along the trail.
Hike difficulty- Moderate 12k
