A good laugh is all we really need these days! ESPECIALLY THESE DARK DAYS!!!!.
Add to that lovely refreshments and you have a perfect occasion.
Benji Lovitt (with his partner Joel Chasnoff) are bringing in the laughs as they launch their new book "Israel 201".

Come alone, with a partner or friend, and join Benji for an evening of comedy. Let's laugh together about the crazy place we call home.

“Israel 201”, is a behind the scenes look at the magic, mystery and chaos of one of the most fascinating and misunderstood countries on earth. From Yom Kippur bike sales to Jerusalem’s cat conundrum, Shomer Shabbos car insurance to LGBTQ combat soldiers in the IDF, this is the Israel you haven’t heard about.

  • Doors open at 15:45 for refreshments and mingling. The show starts at 16:00.

  • “Israel 201” will be available for sale before and after the show.

The Golda Meir Center is run by the Israel Foreign Ministry and has an adequate safe room for all participants.

This event was originally scheduled for October 9th 2023 but had to be postponed due to the October 7th war. Anyone who registered and paid for the original event will be able to attend without additional payment.
