Meet Eileen – Scholar, Educator, and Explorer of Jewish History
With a BA from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa) and an MA from Yeshiva University (New York), Eileen brings a rich academic background and a lifetime of leadership in Jewish education. She served as Director of Jewish Studies at Mt. Sinai College in Sydney and later as Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Jewish Association (APJA). In this role, Eileen conducted in-depth research into the fascinating history of Chinese Jewry and led several immersive tours to China, engaging directly with the local Jewish communities. Her work bridges continents and cultures, bringing to light the global tapestry of Jewish life.
