Viktor Fainberg - Madly in Dissent

Join us for a powerful screening honoring Viktor Fainberg, one of eight heroic dissidents who stood in Red Square in 1968 to protest the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia - a solitary act of defiance that reverberated across the Iron Curtain.

The evening will open with reflections from his daughter, Dr. Sarah Fainberg, Senior Researcher and Head of the Great Powers Research Program at Tel Aviv University’s Elrom Center for Air and Space Studies.
