Neveh Tzedek, or the Oasis of Justice, located in southern Tel Aviv, was officially established in 1887. After Tel Aviv was founded in 1909, Neveh Tzedek became part of Tel Aviv and today is considered its oldest neighborhood.
Starting in the 1960s the area became extremely rundown. Planning to demolish the neighbourhood, the city of Tel Aviv was faced with strong opposition and in the end decided to renovate Neveh Tzedek. Today it is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the city.
The main artery of Neveh Tzedek is Shabazi Street which houses many boutique stores, art galleries, historical buildings and restaurants.

Our guide is Avi Puritz who is an experienced and licensed tour guide with an extensive knowledge of the history of Tel Aviv-Jaffa

Our tour will start in front of the Old Tel Aviv Train Station building at the entrance to the complex. The parking address is Kaufmann Street 65 but the entrance to the parking lot is off Hamered Street. There is no real street number. To enter the parking lot from Kaufmann Street, turn right onto Hamered Street and after about 10 meters you will see the sign and entrance to the parking lot on your right.

Participants have to arrive on their own. There are no meals included.
