Ayanot is a youth village founded in 1932, which is famous for its production of soaps, creams and essential oils. There will be a guided tour in English of its museum plus an explanation of how and why the village was set up, and what it achieves today.
Bustan Shoshan is an orchard that specializes in exotic trees from the Land of Israel and the tropics. During the tour you will taste the fruits, ending with fresh pita bread and the orchard's magical herb tea. The place is kosher.
You will take your own cars. Anyone requiring a lift should contact Doreen Morris (0546174618). You have the option of bringing your own lunch (milky please) or buying from the kosher Daniela Café, near the entrance of Moshav Mazliah. Driving instructions to all venues will be provided. There may be some walking on uneven ground. Please ensure you are at the museum in Ayanot by 09.45 am at the latest. Thank you.
