A past that has come back to haunt me - this the story of one family out of six million.
Hear from Rosie ben Yakov how one side of her family survived the Holocaust.
Rosie retired from her role as Coordinator for the English Department at Leo Baeck Education Center where she was responsible for student exchange programs between German students and the local students. The aim was for them to learn from each other and come to peace with our past.
Rosie was also a Fundraiser for Israeli and Arab Coexistence in Europe.

Peter Halpern will tell his mother’s story of liberation from Bergen Belsen.
Peter made Aliyah in December 2023. He is a former teacher and banker. He is enjoying Haifa and Israel immensely, as he likes to swim, hike, and travel.
